The first version of the lunar new year calendar, cut with Chinese characters on the rotating face. Released ahead of the redesigned English-typeset version above.
Designing for a non-Latin script meant rebuilding the spacing, kerning, and window cutouts from scratch — the geometry of each character has its own demands.
